Escondido, San Diego Garage Conversion ADU

On this project in the City of Escondido we were hired to convert a detached garage into a livable companion unit (ADU). This garage does not share any walls with the main home and makes for an ideal private ADU build. The way the garage is positioned makes it ideal for conversion and will not look like a converted garage once the project is complete. Our architect was able to transform the roughly 500 sqft space into a very accommodating livable unit for our clients. Our clients are building this extra space so that they will have some additional income to help pay down their mortgage. This roughly 500 sqft space will now accommodate a bathroom, kitchen, and sleeping quarters. As well as a stackable washer/dryer.
