North County, San Diego ADU

On this project our client had the perfect setup to construct a completely detached & private ‘granny flat’. The end result is a 1,200 sqft. masterpiece of 2 bedrooms 2 bath with beautiful vaulted ceilings in the living areas. This ADU came out looking better than most homes.

In this case, our designer, Rummy Dechner was able to configure the companion unit in such a way that the main home and the new home are completely separate and private from one another. This specific lot had a wide enough width to allow for a ‘flag lot’ ADU. Meaning there is a drive way in the front of the property that leads you into the back where this new unit is located. A new gate was put in the back to separate the yard into two. Giving both the homeowner and potential ADU tenant separate private yards to enjoy.
